In this article we're giving you an overview of OneLease (Beta), including what has been released to date and what functionality you can test. We've got several updates and improvements planned for OneLease, so stay tuned!
What is OneLease (Beta)?
OneLease is the future of Nomos One, designed to solve customers' unmet needs and enhance user experience. We've created OneLease with our customers in mind.
OneLease is currently in Open Beta, which means after a thorough process of discovery, planning, internal testing, and testing with a closed beta group, we've released the features and functionality previously released to the Beta Program members to all users of Nomos One to test (Open Beta). The aim of our Beta Program and release to Open Beta is to make features of OneLease available to gather feedback to help shape the product as it develops.
We'll be releasing several updates and improvements to OneLease (Beta) in the future - each one striving to enhance your experience using the product. You can, if you want, help shape this process by sharing your feedback with us.
Please note: As these features are currently in Beta mode and undergoing final testing before the official release, the functionality may be subject to minor errors. For now, we would love your feedback so please feel free to hit our Feedback button to the right of your browser if you have any suggested enhancements, notice any issues or want to let our Developers know they've done a great job! Should you see any bugs, glitches or lack of functionality in your reports, please contact our Support Team (support@nomosone.com), who will be more than happy to assist.
What's available in OneLease (Beta) right now?
So far in OneLease (Beta), we've been focusing on the IFRS 16 reporting suite. Currently we've released the following IFRS 16 Reports:
- Agreement Balances Report
- Journal Report
- Disclosure Report
- Financial Statements Report
- Interest Rates Summary Report
Please note: The New Engine database has not changed, this means that the calculations remain the same between the OneLease (Beta) Reports and the IFRS 16 New Engine Reports. The changes implemented in OneLease (Beta) are designed to improve your experience using the Reports.
You may notice that there are other tabs and sections within OneLease (Beta) that are there, but can't be clicked on. These features have not been developed yet and are not available for you to use or test.
What's new in OneLease (Beta)?
Aside from releasing the IFRS 16 Reports that were available in the current platform - we've also introduced a heap of new reports, features and functionality!
We've created a series of articles on how to use each of the new reports in OneLease (Beta) which are available on our Knowledge Base, however, we thought we'd give you an overview of the key functionality and features that are brand new in and across OneLease (Beta).
-
Agreement Balances Report
In the IFRS 16 reporting suite in OneLease (Beta) we've introduced a brand new Agreement Balances Report. This report is not currently available on the existing Nomos One platform, it is exclusively released in OneLease (Beta).
This report shows you a break down of your Right of Use Asset and Lease Liability accounts, by agreement, for a specific period. You can find it by navigating to the Agreement Balances Report from the Reporting tab.
-
Interest Rates Summary Report
Say hello to our brand new Interest Rates Summary Report exclusive to OneLease (Beta)!
This report shows you key information about Interest Rates applied to your Agreements, including the initial, current and the rate immediately preceding that. Jump in by clicking on the Reporting tab and selecting the report under Financial Reports.
-
Expanded Download options
Extracting your Reports has never been so flexible as we've introduced the ability to download your Reports into Excel format as well as CSV, and in the Disclosure and Financial Statements Reports, you can download Reports across multiple currencies in a format that suits you!
Want to download only two of four of your currency reports, and in one spreadsheet? Go ahead! Or are you looking for downloads of all your currencies in separate spreadsheets, make it happen! Check out this article to learn how.
- Save Preset configurations available across all Reports
In the existing Nomos One IFRS 16 Reporting suite, you can save a template of your Journal Report to run again and again. Now we've expanded this feature across all the IFRS 16 Reports in OneLease (Beta) so you can save time preparing all the reports you like to generate. To get up to speed, check out our guidance here.

Email me my reports please!
We've introduced a new feature that is perfect for those who are in a rush and trying to download reports. Now, when you Generate your Reports, if this process starts to take longer than a few blinks of your eye, you now have an option to have the report sent to your email by clicking 'Email me'.
If you select this option, you can then continue to run other reports while the original report loads and is sent to you in the background.
Once your Report has started generating, keep an eye out for our Email me button, and click it to trigger this process.
If you have any further questions, check out our FAQs, and if they don't help, feel free to email us at support@nomosone.com with your question.
